Please email support@saes.org to let the Tech Department know that your computer is not working properly if you are able to.
If you are not at St. Andrews or on vacation away from the area and your computer suddenly stops working, you are able to get the laptop repaired.
If you feel as though the laptop is a warranty repair and not by some other means (liquid damage from a spill, drop, or other) then go to http://www.apple.com/retail/storelist/ and find closest Apple Store to your location. If it is a non-warranty issue, please let the Tech Department know as we will work on a solution.
You will have to login using your AppleID (same as your iTunes account if you have one), if you don't have an AppleID you can create a free one. Step through the diagnostics and click "No thanks. Continue" when asked about using the Apple Diagnostics.
During the next step you have the option to speak with a technician, find a local Apple service provider, or make an appointment with the Genius Bar at an Apple Store.
When your computer is repaired, please let us know what service work was done to it for our records.
