What is Flipgrid?

So simple, yet so powerful.   Flipgrid is a web-based tool where teachers spark a discussion topic and students respond with short videos -- on any browser, mobile device, or computer.  "You can moderate videos, provide custom feedback, set the privacy rules, and much more".

How To Sign Up (Using your school account)

We have a subscription for all teachers on the Postoak campus for the 17-18 school year.  It's important that you sign in correctly so that you can access the premium features, including unlimited grids and much more.

Important: Please note that teachers have their own login page at the Teachers Admin page.  Your students access the grids you create at the main site with the code you assign to them, making the site secure even for the youngest learners.


If you do not have an account:
  1. Use this link to get started
  2. Input the promo code SAES17
  3. You will go through a couple payment steps but it will end up showing $0 owed at the end


If you already have an account:
  1. Visit the admin.flipgrid.com/manage/billing page of your Flipgrid Admin
  2. Follow the prompts to purchase. On the 2nd step, use the promo code SAES17 and it will end up showing $0 owed


Don't forget to allow Flipgrid permission to use your laptop camera and audio.
