Tech Support - how to take control of a user’s computer:


    1. Launch LogMeIn-Rescue admin console

 


    1. New Session

 


    1. Create PIN Code

 


    1. Tell the user to:

       


        1. go to www.logmein123.com
    2.  


        1. enter the PIN
    3.  


        1. click “Start Download”
    4.  


        1. go to Downloads folder and open “Support-LogMeInRescue”
    5.  


        1. click “Open” on the “Are you sure you want to open this file?” window
    6.  


        1. Deny the message saying “Support-LogMeInRescue would like to record this computer’s screen.”
    7.  

      1. click “OK” on the “James Masciuch would like access to your computer.” window

 


    1. There is now a “Customer” entry in the admin console with a status of “Connecting”

 


    1. Click on their Session ID and then click on the green Start Session button

 


    1. In the new window click “Launch Remote Control Session”

 

  1. Tech Support now has control
