The fix for this is to uninstall your HP printers, install new drivers, then reinstall the HP printers. This procedure will not affect your other printers - only HP brand. If you have any personal HP printers installed they will be removed too, so you'll have to add them back at home.
- Go to the Apple icon/System Preferences/Printers & Scanners
- Make note of which printers you use
- Now go to SAES Self Service and search for "HP"
- First run the "Delete HP Printers" item
- Then run the "Reinstall HP Printer Drivers" item
- Now, in the left-hand column, click on "Printers"
- Reinstall any printers from Step 2 that are missing
- At home, reinstall any personal HP printers that are missing
