I did a test and found that if I lower or mute the volume on my computer as I'm sharing a video, that setting gets passed on to whoever else is in the meeting - it lowers or mutes the sound for them as well. So it seems like you have to adjust your volume for your audience. If you mute it for yourself it will mute it for them ;-(
